Yesterday I was able to attend round #4 of the OMK / Way To Win - 2WD Fall Classic race series.
The race series is run over 8 rounds on OMK's Astro track partially under the flood lights in the evening. Race format consists of open free practice and then 3 qualifiers and 3 finals.
I was running my XRAY XB2 and as usual I had it equipped with the JConcepts Swagger and Lockness astro tire combination and ORCA electronics.
I was easily able to win all 3 qualifiers to take the overall TQ putting in the only 15 lap runs of the evening.
For the first final I was quickly able to work up a comfortable lead which I held to the finish line.
For the second final I was unfortunately hit from behind going into the first corner and fell back into the field of drivers. But I was quickly able to work my way back into the lead and then opened up a gap to secure another win as well as the overall for round #4
